NOTICE OF PRIVACY POLICY
Effective September 1, 2007It is the policy of ACT Services to ensure that all participant information is confidential. All records and the contents of those records are confidential. Access to participant records is provided to staff members for the purpose of delivery and documentation of services.
Records will be made available to properly identified State and Federal authorities, and DOH auditors. The clinical records are the exclusive property of ACT, Ltd
ACT Services maintains a policy of compliance with applicable laws concerning treatment of confidential information (HIPAA) ACT Services staff members receive initial orientation and annual training regarding HIPAA and expected standards of compliance.
